Oxygen saturation

Also known as: SpO₂, Blood oxygen saturation

The percentage of haemoglobin carrying oxygen, often estimated by a pulse oximeter as SpO₂. A normal reading does not rule out symptoms caused by low carbon dioxide or other conditions.
