Neurogenic tremor

Also known as: Therapeutic tremor, Shaking response

German: Neurogenes Zittern, Therapeutisches Zittern, Zitterreaktion

A natural shaking or trembling of the large muscles that can follow stress or intense effort, and that is described as a way for the body to release tension. Some body-based methods try to evoke it deliberately. Scientific evidence for specific benefits is still limited, and it should not be forced.
