Spontaneous movement (kriyas)

Also known as: Kriyas, Involuntary movement

German: Spontane Bewegung (Kriyas), Unwillkürliche Bewegung

Unplanned movements such as trembling, stretching, rocking, shaking or vocal sounds that sometimes arise during breathing practices. They are often described as a natural body response rather than something to push for or suppress. In yoga, the word "kriya" is also used for a different thing, a purification or breathing sequence, so context matters.
