Hyperventilation syndrome
Hyperventilation syndrome describes recurring, involuntary over-breathing, often linked with anxiety or panic, that causes symptoms such as tingling, dizziness and chest tightness. Intentional breathwork differs because it is chosen, paced and time-limited. Persistent symptoms should be checked by a doctor.
