Containment
German: Containment (Halt geben), Halt geben
The sense of safety and structure that a facilitator creates through clear framing, boundaries, pacing and attuned presence, so that strong experiences can be felt without becoming overwhelming. It does not mean controlling or suppressing a person's experience.
