Facilitation & Integration
Code of ethics
Also known as: Ethical guidelines
German: Ethikkodex, Ethische Richtlinien
A written set of standards a facilitator commits to, typically covering confidentiality, boundaries, consent, avoiding medical or healing claims, non-discrimination, awareness of power dynamics and referral to professionals when needed. In many countries breathwork facilitation is not a regulated profession, so a published code is one way for participants to judge how a facilitator works.
